Passage

your essence
walked
amongst us...

you filled
our space
with
vibrance...

you were
the dynamic force
who's presence
would not
be
denied.

you flowed
around
us
like
the eddies
of
a rushing stream,
pulling
at the fabric
of
our being...
molding
and shaping
with your
strength.

you brought
the dawn
and
darkness
to
our days...

you filled
our slates
with
the lessons
needed
for
this lifetime.

...and now
life
flows on...

i write
to honour
the journey
that you made...

to honour
that which
you
taught me...

to honour
the path
we walked
together...

I
salute
you!

...may
your new space
be filled
with

light...

and joy...

and love eternal....

Namaste.

Poet's Note:

This poem was written in loving memory

of my father, Ronald Vernon Brittain,

and my aunt, Barbara Croft.

Both souls passed beyond

this space within a month of each other.
